Marylebone Village HQ office coming soon

October 2023 | News

Work is under way on a revamp of Colliers’ former European headquarters.

Construction has begun on the renovation and repositioning of 50 George Street, a 34,000 sq ft courtyard building in Marylebone.

Quartz Project Services is project managing the refurbishment on behalf of owner Loftus Property, with design being led by Anomoly Architects.

The building has extensive outdoor space, including multiple outdoor terraces and a fully accessible courtyard, with planning permission granted to add a new rooftop pavilion and an additional terrace to the fourth floor.

Andrew Loftus said: “Set in a large courtyard the building has always been a unique HQ building, most recently for Colliers and before that for Orange/EE. Now we are substantially upgrading the building for the next-generation office user, maximising the outdoor space on all floors, and adding a new rooftop terrace and pavilion.

“We have an extremely positive embodied carbon story, retaining the existing building while significantly improving the sustainability credentials.”

Works are due to complete at the end of 2024.
