Introducing The Manufactory
For over 200 years the Heal’s building on Tottenham Court Road has been the home of British design. Our clients KKR and General Projects are remastering this incredible Grade II* Listed landmark into a place to craft the future of work.
With a new revitalised flagship store occupying the entire ground and lower ground floors, the building is being restored and will be the most important destination in the West End’s design district while securing an exciting future for the Heal’s brand in the building in which it was founded
A 200-year-old dispatch area is being repurposed into a new reception and coffee shop and made accessible to the public for the first time, will stitch the building back into street life – bringing immeasurable vibrancy to the building and the surrounding area.
The top floors are being sensitively restored, reinstating never seen before heritage, and reimagined into a collective of one-of-a-kind workspaces where history meets avant-garde design.
Providing a new home for the area’s creative and tech businesses to continue the legacy of innovation that has taken place here in the past two centuries
